About Us
We’re a specialist firm working with senior leadership teams across the extractive industries to drive the capital performance of their assets. We were founded on the conviction that the economic performance of mining, energy, and infrastructure assets can be governed with the same rigour and resolution that the industry already applies to the operational performance of those assets.
Our network
Trans4mine operates through a network of consultants who have spent their careers in the extracive industry. They’ve sat on the boards, run operations, managed processing plants, led capital projects through commissioning and ramp-up, and worked across multiple jurisdictions and commodity cycles. They bring the economic understanding to see where value is being earnt or lost, and the operational experience to do something about it.
Our consultants come from operational, financial, and technical backgrounds. Some have run assets. Some have sat in the CFO's chair. Some have led the technical services functions that underpin mine planning, metallurgical performance, and maintenance strategy. What they share is the ability to work across both dimensions — the economics and the operations — because capital performance lives at the intersection of the two.
How we work
Every engagement is led by people with direct experience in the industries and the problems involved. We work on site, inside the management systems our clients already run, with the people who run them. The disciplines we build are designed to operate within the existing management rhythm, not alongside it.
We’re selective about the work we take on. We look for engagements where the problem is material, where the leadership team is committed to acting on what we find, and where our experience gives our client a genuine advantage.
What we stand for
Substance over presentation. The measure of our work is whether it changes how the organisation operates, not whether the deliverables look impressive. We focus on what gets embedded, what gets adopted, and what our client's people can run twelve months after we leave.
Honesty before comfort. Our clients hire us to see clearly, not to confirm what they already believe. We tell them what we find, including the things that are uncomfortable. If a problem sits outside our experience, we say so.
Practitioners, not theorists. Our people have run operations, made the trade-offs, and lived with the consequences across full commodity and investment cycles. They understand our clients' world because they have spent their careers in it, doing the work our clients are trying to do.
